Does MPS offer audit like RD Accounting does?
No. MPS Accountancy does not offer statutory audit. If your company or charity needs one — usually because you exceed the audit thresholds or your governing document requires it — RD Accounting is one of several local firms that can do it, and we will happily work alongside an auditor on the accounts and tax side.
Both firms charge fixed monthly fees. Is there a difference?
The model is the same and it is a good one. The difference is in what surrounds it: we quote after a free discovery call so the number reflects your actual structure, and the quote covers ad-hoc questions during the year rather than treating them as extras.
Are RD Accounting registered auditors?
They list audit among their services and display ACCA accreditation. Audit registration is a specific permission, so if audit is the reason you're choosing a firm, ask them to confirm their registered-auditor status and check it on the ACCA or FRC register before you appoint.
